About
What is CoffeeCraft?
CoffeeCraft is a small business that provides helpful tools to create a better crafting experience. We believe that anything someone creates is a craft - whether it’s a traditional needlecraft, woodworking project, fine art piece, music, cooking, or any other creation you can think of. We also believe that everyone, no matter their age, gender, or background should be welcome to try any new craft.
Becoming capable of mending clothes, altering items to show more personality, and many other handicrafts require a certain amount of perseverance and willingness to make mistakes that make our world a better place. These are qualities that we don’t want our society to lose over time, and are needed before training, practice, and skill can take someone to the next level in their craft.
The Coffee in CoffeeCraft is just a way to say we believe you should put good intent and energy into whatever craft you chose. Sometimes you might need a warm cup of motivation to help you get started trying something new and intimidating, and that’s ok!
Who is Auntie Sarah?
Hi there! I’m excited to introduce myself as Auntie Sarah from CoffeeCraft.
For those who don’t know me, I’m a 30-something-year-old lady who’s always been interested in learning new things. I have many different hobbies and crafts that I enjoy, and while I like to joke that I have a short attention span, really I’m just inspired by so many people in my life.
Some of my most frequent crafts include:
Embroidery and hand sewing
Machine sewing
Painting, sketching, and drawing
Baking
Wood burning
Who inspires Auntie Sarah to create?
While I’ve been sharing my journey of trying lots of different hobbies with my friends and family, I’ve found a lot of people who are also intrigued by trying a new hobby but are unsure of how to start. These are the people who’ve inspired me to start CoffeeCraft.
To help alleviate the fear of starting a new project, I wanted to give the world a few great starting places for new projects and share the tips and tricks I’ve learned over time.
Through CoffeeCraft I want to offer tutorials for you to get started, offer ways for you to think about the important people in your life, and suggest how to communicate to your loved ones to show them how much they’ve inspired you.
Being inspired by someone important to you is how I believe you can create with love.
Ask yourself these questions as you go through the creative process:
What colors do they like?
What flavors or smells do they like?
Would they like something funny or something heartfelt?
Would they like something useful or something decorative?
Keeping the person in mind who inspires you as you work will ensure that the gift you create for that person will be full of meaning and your intent to share your kindness with them will be clear.
I hope you join me on this journey to learn new crafts and share your inspiration with others. I look forward to seeing your creations!
Frequently Asked Questions
You’ve got questions. We’ve got answers.

In our opinion, a craft is anything you make with your own two hands (or just one if you’re really impressive). That’s why our dream is to provide crafty plans that cover various different forms of crafting that fit any skill or style.

Absolutely A N Y O N E can be crafty. Seriously. That means you! We strive to create a welcoming space for all kinds of people to enjoy being creative.
And why would they want to? Well, we may be biased, but we think crafting is one of the most fantastic things you can do. It allows you to explore your creativity, channel your emotion, challenge yourself to grow, and connect with others by sharing the experience with them or by gifting your work.
-
Nope. You can craft to your heart’s content without a single drop. And we’ll applaud you no matter what (though we’ll probably have a coffee in hand while doing so).

We work hard to create a detailed document that makes starting a new craft project a breeze. This includes things like:
A list of items you need along with helpful notes on whether specific brands or elements make a difference.
Items that are helpful but not necessary if you’re looking to work with fewer items
Detailed instructions for each step of the process. This makes a project accessible to beginners and crafting pros alike.
Tips, tricks, and helpful information.
Ideas for how you can share your craft with others.
And even more!
